METRISI Engineering was established in 1985 by Dr.-Ing. Antonis Antonopoulos, Surveying Engineer NTUA and Dr.-Ing. Universität Hanover, and Stavros Antonopoulos, Surveying Engineer NTUA. Antonis and Stavros Antonopoulos are the company managers, and have been continually working for METRISI since its establishment. METRISI is registered with the Technical Chamber of Greece since 1987 (registry number 465). The company is based in Kranidi, seat of the Municipality of Ermionida.
METRISI Engineering has been active in Ermionida and the neighbouring municipalities since 1987. In the beginning, the company focused solely on survey, but quickly expanded to other fields. Currently, METRISI provides engineering services in Surveying, Design, and Construction.

Surveying services include:
a) General survey services (property ownership, cadastral, forest area designation, delineation of coastal zones, etc)
b) Precision surveys
c) Photogrammetry and photointerpretation
d) Building information Modelling (BIM)

METRISI Engineering also provides services in a variety of fields, ranging from architecture and urban planning to specialised studies, such as hydraulics and transport networks. These include:
a) Architecture and urban planning (architectural design, urban planning schemes, planning permits, settlement of illegal structures)
b) Property valuation
c) Hydraulics studies (stream determination, hydraulic and hydrological studies)
d) Road planning (road construction studies, transport connections studies)

Finally, METRISI provides services in construction projects, including:
a) Construction management
b) Site and project management
c) Supporting services (as built surveys, setting out, quantity survey)
d) Acting as general contractor

The equipment is updated regularly, in order to maintain the high performance standards. The most recent update of surveying equipment and relevant software was partially funded through the NSRF 2007-2013 “Programme for Development”.
